So me, my dad, and my sister went to a fair downtown. Everything was free (well not the food). The music was free and the fun was free but most of all the face-painting was free. We probably spent most of our time waiting in line for the painting of our faces. But in the end it was worth the wait. I got a butterfly on my face (and not any butterfly a BLUE butterfly with glitter). And of course my sister with her belief that she can talk to dogs, naturally got a dog face…well on her face. The picture above isn’t what she looked like right off the chair of course (we went for pizza afterwards) but still the face painting looks awesome!
It’s alive!
August 17, 2008 by 2beeuGirl Scout Overnight!!
July 23, 2008 by 2beeuI recently went to a super wickedly cool overnight with my girl scout troop. And it wasn’t any old overnight, it was a overnight at the Museum of Science in Boston. It was great! We met all sorts of girl scouts and explored the museum. Not to mention that we got to see a really cool electricity show! After the docents said to “get to your assigned exhibit and get ready for bed because lights go out at 12:00″. But we decided to explore to exhibit next to us. Imagine the screams we made when the lights started going off leaving us in darkness! We didn’t really go to sleep though we were to excited! In the morning we had breakfast and we were off to the planetarium to watch the stars. After studying the constellations we went to see sea monsters in the omni theater. Soon it was time to pile back into the car and head for home. We chattered nosily as we licked our rock candies (which we had bought at the gift store ). When I got home I landed on my bed and fell asleep because I was tired!
It was probably not just the museum I enjoyed but also the earning the cookie money to pay for it. I recommend Museum of Science overnight to all girl scouts big and small!
I love this series!
July 22, 2008 by 2beeuHi-ya! I decided to do movie and book revues here so I think I’ll start with a series that everyone (OK not everyone but a lot of people) in my school are talking about. “Percy Jackson and the Olympian Series” I have to say it’s one of my fav series. It’s all about a normal boy who lives in New York. Ok maybe he’s not completely normal, when ever he go’s to a new school he always gets thrown out. I don’t want to give away the story or anything but let’s just say he finds out he’s a son of a Greek God! He happens to be the son of Poseidon the god of the sea. Imagine the cool powers he has!
Now parents not to fear it’s educational too! After reading all 4 books (there really is 5 but the author, Rick Riordan, hasn’t finished the 5th yet) I found I knew more abut the Greeks then my dad did (and that’s saying something!)
Anyway, let me just say if you’re looking for some really good Summer reads, this is the series!
Last day First
July 21, 2008 by 2beeuIt was my last day of school today. Let Summer vacation begin.
And here it is my first ever blog entry, but my Mom is writing for me, because she is bossy like that.
But don’t worry she won’t be doing it the whole time. (Hopefully!)
We got this idea to open up a cool shop on Etsy. Haven’t open it yet. Actually my mother got this idea to open a shop on Etsy. (She hasn’t found a “real” job yet.) But anyway I know if the shop is going to be at all cool, she needs my help big time.
So stay tuned to my blog and I’ll let you know once we get that Etsy shop going.
